Highlights
The God Reptile Axie build is one of the most effective strategies in Axie Infinity Classic that can also reflect damage back to the opponent.
With the Tiny Swing card the Reptile Axie can also deal massive damage after four rounds upon activating the card.
The rest of your team will vary on your playstyle and what Axies you’ll be facing in the Arena.

The God Reptile Axie build is one of the most effective strategies in Axie Infinity Classic (also known as Battle V2). This Axie meta surged in popularity during Season 19 due to its potential to be both a durable tank and a decent damage dealer. The God Reptile Axie build is usually coupled with the Tiny Swing card which allows it to deal bonus damage after four rounds upon activation. Axie Infinity offers a wide variety of playstyles and strategies for players to explore and theorycraft. This is one of the builds that shaped the meta of the popular Non-fungible token (NFT) game.

God Reptile Axie build

The build requires the Kotaro Bite, Tiny Catapult, Bulkwark, and Tiny Swing cards on a Reptile type Axie.

It is advisable to have at most 40 speed for the Axie. This is due to the Kotaro Bite card requiring the equipped Axie to be slower than the opponents’ in order to activate its effect.

Reptile Axie Stats and Cards

The Tiny Catapult and Bulkwark will deal Reflect damage to the opponent which may require your Axie to have a decent HP pool in order to tank as much damage as possible without being knocked out.

The Tiny Swing is your ultimate weapon which allows the Axie to deal up to 150% damage after four rounds. However, lasting for four rounds without being knocked out may prove to be a challenge for players who want to try the God Reptile Axie build.

The important part of this strategy is that the Reptile Axie should be able to survive long enough to reflect as much damage as possible and maximize the power of the Tiny Swing card. Keep in mind that there are some Axie cards that can cripple your combo such as the Numbing card which disables an opponent’s melee cards.

The rest of your team will vary on your playstyle and what Axies you’ll be facing in the Arena. Preferred Axies are frontline tanks and damage dealers who can take down the opponent’s tanky Axies.

With the Axie Origin’s early access currently ongoing, it will be interesting to see how the God Reptile Axie build can evolve to fit the new gameplay mechanics and playstyle.
