Arcane Season 1 had its fair share of heartwarming scenes as well as jaw dropping ones. The way it captured the deaths of some of the characters still stands fresh before our eyes. Having said all that, here are all the major character deaths from Arcane Season 1.

Spoiler Alert: If you have not watched Arcane Season 1 yet, be aware that this article has major spoilers.

Major Characters Who Died in Arcane Season 1

In this article, we will not only look at characters who played a major role on the screen, but also consider those who had a bigger impact on the storyline.

Vi and Powder's Parents

Vi and Powder's parents are unnamed characters who were killed during the battle on the bridge separating Zaun and Piltover. Their deaths left Vi and Powder as orphans. This scene is seen in flashbacks.

Claggor

Claggor was one of the children taken in by Vander. Claggor grew up spending most of his time with the other children Vander had taken in, including Vi, Mylo, and Powder. In the aftermath of the bomb that exploded because of Powder, Claggor's head was impaled by a shard of rock after a wall collapsed.

Mylo

Mylo is also one of the children who were being fostered by Vander. Mylo also died in the aftermath of Powder's bomb exploding.

Vander

Long back, Vander was the unspoken leader and protector of the undercity and was someone who was determined to ensure the safety of Zaunities and specifically the children he adopted. In the fight against Silco and his army of men, he was stabbed in the back by Silco with a knife. Following this, he fell down into Shimmer vials and the broken glass pieces impaled him, causing him to succumb to his injuries.

Silco

The death of Silco is captured in Episode 9 "The Monster You Created." In this episode, Jinx snaps and shoots Silco on accident and immediately regrets it. Silco, however, then reassures he would have never given her up, and that he loves her for who she is. Following this, he dies in Jinx's arms.

The last scene of the last episode shows Jinx firing her rocket at the council of Piltover and Riot Games and Fortiche ended the series with a big cliffhanger. There are several theories suggesting that Cassandra, Caitlyn's mother and Council member, died as a result of Jinx's rocket. In Arcane: Bridging the Rift, the fans noticed some key aspects in a few seconds of behind-the-scenes content about Caitlyn and her family.

In a segment where they were explaining that Fortiche does not use motion capture, the camera showed just a few seconds of a Caitlyn and Tobias interaction which was not seen in Season 1. The frame shows a sorrowful Tobias surrounded by white flowers and Caitlyn comforts him with a cup of tea.

Fans speculated that Caitlyn and Tobias are grieving the death of Cassandra, who was in the Council room in the season finale when Jinx fired her rocket. However, this theory is a huge presumption and has to be taken with a pinch of salt since Riot Games is not going to leak their Season 2 plotline anytime soon.
