Arcane Season 2 Return Confirmed For Silco?
Actor Jason Spisak confirmed that his character Silco will return in season two of Arcane. While on the Ikuzo Unscripted Podcast #92, Spisak admitted that he "recorded lines for season two."
Not a lot is known about the upcoming season of Arcane and its storyline and it is still unclear as to which characters from League of Legends would make the cut this time around. The last scene in the last episode was Jinx firing her rocket towards the council of Piltover. But fans are delighted to know that Jason Spisak will be involved in Season 2 and that he was even given the nod by Riot Games.
While he joked about the ending of Season 1, he added, "Well, I’ve recorded lines for Season 2. They let me say it. Riot Games let me tell people. They said, 'You can officially tell people that you have recorded lines for Season 2.' So, I’m allowed to say that I have.”
If you remember what happened in Season 1 of Arcane, you would recall the death of Silco on-screen in Episode 9 "The Monster You Created." In the episode, Jinx snaps and shoots Silco on accident and immediately regrets it. Silco, however, then reassures he would have never given her up, and that he loves her for who she is. Following this, he dies in Jinx's arms.
So the fact is Silco is dead in Arcane, according to the screenplay. The logical reasoning behind Jason Spisak recording voice lines and being given permission from Riot Games to talk about it could be because there is little to no chance for the character to come back from the dead.
It is very likely that Silco appears in Jinx's distorted visions and hears him in her head or maybe the writers included some sort of flashback scene for Silco's character.
