Along with the three Azure Ray players, Azure Ray coach Liekkas also joined XG.

Xtreme Gaming created a lot of hype and excitement in the Dota 2 community with its recent signing of Chinese Dota 2 legend Wang "Ame" Chunyu as its new carry player. Xtreme Gaming (XG) has now finally completed its 2024 Dota 2 roster and is ready to rock and roll in the upcoming competitive season.

The last three additions to the team were none other than the rumored Azure Ray players Guo "Xm" Hongcheng, Lin "Xxs" Jing, and Zhao "XinQ" Zixing. XG also brought in Azure Ray’s coach Wang "Liekkas" Yutian for the 2024 season.

Xtreme Gaming Completes its Dota 2 Roster

On 27th December, Xtreme Gaming took to Chinese social media platform Weibo to officially announce its new Dota 2 roster. The latest additions to Xtreme Gaming’s roster are star players from Azure Ray — Xm, Xxs, and XinQ — along with coach Liekkas.

The new joinees recently won the ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 after pulling off a miraculous reverse sweep against Gaimin Gladiators in the grand finals. Notably, Xm and XinQ are making a return to Xtreme Gaming after a month of leaving the team to join Azure Ray, while Xxs and Liekkas are joining the team for the first time.

Now with the latest addition to Xtreme Gaming, the roster is as follows:

  • Wang "Ame" Chunyu

  • Guo "Xm" Hongcheng

  • Lin "Xxs" Jing

  • Zhao "XinQ" Zixing

  • Ding "Dy" Cong

Rumors surrounding this potential roster have been circulating the internet for a while now and earlier, XinQ confirmed that these changes were imminent. XinQ even noted that this roster change was planned before the ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 event. On 22nd December, English Dota 2 commentator Benjamin "Bkop" Kopilow also took to X to confirm the new roster for Xtreme Gaming featuring three Azure Ray players.

Now with a complete roster, fans can expect an action-packed run from Xtreme Gaming. This also marks the return of Ame to the professional Dota 2 scene.

The three ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 Champions are ready to triumph over upcoming tournaments alongside Dy who has been waiting for a complete Dota 2 roster to showcase his skills.

The next upcoming tournament qualifier is for the BetBoom Dacha 2024 in Dubai, UAE. The qualifier for this event will kick off on 3rd January 2024. Fans can hope to see the newly formed Xtreme Gaming roster in action should the team register for this tournament.
