However, 11 days after the last TI qualifiers concluded in WEU and China, multiple major online tournaments have been announced, featuring some of the biggest names in the world.
All six regions will be covered by these tournaments, and they will take place throughout the months of July and August.

The unexpected postponement of The International 10 (TI10) to October 2021 had the consequence of creating a dry period of competitive Dota 2. When this decision came out, no tournaments were scheduled for the three months leading up to TI10. However, 11 days after the last TI qualifiers concluded in Western Europe (WEU) and China, four major online tournaments have been announced, featuring some of the biggest names in the world. All six regions will be covered by these tournaments, and they will take place throughout the months of July and August. Here's a look at these four events and all they have to offer.

BTS Pro Series Season 7

The seventh edition of the Beyond the Summit's Pro Series will take place for the regions of Southeast Asia (SEA) and the Americas.

There will be a total prize pool of $50,000 USD for both the SEA and the Americas event of the BTS Pro Series S7. The SEA event will feature teams like T1, Fnatic, and Team SMG. Here is the full team list.

One team from the open qualifier will joins the closed qualifier teams.

The teams competing in the Americas event are yet to be announced.

OGA Dota Pit China Season 5

The fifth edition of the Dota Pit series for the Chinese region has been announced by One Game Agency (OGA).

The total prize pool of the event will be $150,000 USD, featuring the best teams from China. All TI10 Chinese representatives will be seen playing in this event. Here is the full team list.

The Dota Pit Series is usually held for EU/CIS as well, so a fifth season may be announced soon for that region.

ESL One Fall 2021

A $400,000 USD event called "ESL One Fall 2021" will take place at the end of August. There is no word on the teams yet, but judging by previous ESL tournaments, it is likely to be held in Europe and CIS, compiling some of the best teams in the region.

Dota 2 Champions League 2021

Epic Esports events, in collaboration with the Russian Esports Federation, is hosting five seasons of the Dota 2 Champions League 2021. Currently, teams from Europe and the CIS are competing for a prize pool of $50,000 USD in the first season.

Additionally, CIS TI10 representative, Team Spirit has been directly invited to the playoffs of the event. One more direct invite will be announced soon.
