Entity Esports team captain and support player Dzmitry "Fishman" Palishchuk recently took to Telegram to share some rumors that have been going on in a Discord server. According to the Belarusian player, Topias "Topson" Taavitsainen and Ivan "MinD_ContRoL" Ivanov may appear in the same team for the upcoming 2024 season. Topson is currently sitting in the Tundra Esports inactive roster while MinD_ContRoL recently left Nigma Galaxy after being a part of the team since it was founded.
Fishman Leaks a Potential New Stack
In a recent Telegram post, Entity Gaming’s team captain Fishman said that according to his sources, Russian player Edgar "9Class" Naltakyan who is Rank 6 on the Dota 2 European leaderboard may join Nigma Galaxy as the new offlaner but it is entirely possible that a new roster could be formed. This new roster is speculated to include two-time TI (The International) winner Topson and TI 2017 winner MinD_ContRoL.
According to Fishman’s sources, the potential new Dota 2 roster could include:
Matthew "Whitemon" Filemon
Edgar "9Class" Naltakyan
Ivan "MinD_ContRoL" Ivanov
Enzo "Timado" Gianoli
Topias "Topson" Taavitsainen
On the other hand, MinD_ContRoL just made an emotional exit from Nigma Galaxy after being with the team since it was founded in 2019. MinD_ContRoL has made no announcements or hints regarding the next step in his Dota 2 career. He played with dudley boyz for the Pinnacle: 25 Year Anniversary Show and Team SMG as a stand in at tThe International 2023.
Timado and Whitemon are both on the active roster of the newly formed Tundra Esports roster. The team played at the ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 but could not find much success and ended the tournament with a modest 7th-8th standing.
It should be noted that these are not confirmed from any other sources and are just based on speculations on Fishman’s behalf. Earlier, Topson was spotted practicing offlane characters in public games but stopped recently. It is unknown what he is up to now and has made no comments on his next step. Notably, he was last seen playing as a stand-in for the now-disbanded Alliance at the Pinnacle: 25 Year Anniversary Show.
Fishman is known to make controversial claims. Earlier he claimed that the next edition of Riyadh Masters will have a prize pool of $45 Million USD which was promptly shut down by Janne "Gorgc" Stefanovski. Only time will tell if these claims from Fishman will hold. Until then stay tuned for more updates and developments on these stories.
