On 27th November 2023, Fishman claimed that the Riyadh Masters 2024 prize pool could be $45 Million USD.
Gorgc was furious seeing such leaks from Fishman and reacted sternly against Fishman and his claims.
Gorgc in retaliation to such claims, counter-leaked from his own sources about Fishman's leak

Renowned Dota 2 personality and Twitch streamer Janne "Gorgc" Stefanovski found himself at odds with fellow Dota 2 figure Dzmitry "Fishman" Palishchuk. This comes after an unconfirmed leak made by Fishman during a livestream session recently where he hinted at the possibility of the upcoming Riyadh Masters 2024 to feature an unprecedented $45 Million USD prize pool.

Gorgc openly criticized Fishman's claims, questioning the credibility and motive behind such leaks.

Gorgc Claims Fishman’s Leak Is a Lie

If you are unaware of what Fishman said, a few days back, he took to his Telegram channel to talk about Riyadh Masters 2023. His Telegram message read, "A new era of cybersports? Heard next tournament in Riyadh [Riyadh Masters] 45 Million, could be." This immediately started a discourse in the community, with many people discussing the implications of such a big prize pool.

Notably, already in 2023, Riyadh Masters 2023 boasted a remarkable $15,000,000 USD prize pool, whereas Dota 2 esports' marquee tournament, The International 2023 (TI12), had a prize pool of just $3,380,455 USD.

Expressing his discontent during the livestream, Gorgc remarked, "Why do people leak everything under Telegram? What does Fishman get out of it? I don't get it."

Further questioning Fishman's motives, Gorgc pondered the purpose behind leaking information and highlighted the potential reputational risk involved.

"I have things I can leak too, but I don't leak them because I feel like it would be so stupid to leak them. Right? What do I gain?... Do it? But if I leaked it, guys, I feel like I gain nothing and I only lose my reputation. Doesn't Fishman feel the same?"

Asserting his stance on the validity of the leak, Gorgc stated, "I can tell you from my sources, I'll just counter-leak if you want me to, guys, because, f*ck this guy. I mean, f*ck everybody that leaks. You know, I'm not a Riyadh [Masters] defender or anything. I'm just saying, you know, it just bothers me that people are leaking so much.“

Gorgc claimed that according to his sources Fishman’s unverified leaks were nothing more than a "lie" and his sources told him that Riyadh Masters will not have a prize pool of $45 Million

I'll just counter-leak right here and tell you the truth is that this... this is not true. Like, this is actually just not true from what I know. That's not even true. So what? It's just a lie."

However, it is essential to take both Fishman's leak and Gorgc's counter-claim with a pinch of salt until official confirmation is provided. Only time will reveal the accuracy of these statements.
