Nigma Galaxy fans are rejoicing as its Dota 2 roster for the 2024 season is ready. The organization treated its fans and community with the return of Amer "Miracle-" Al-Barkawi last month. Now, with the last two members of the puzzle revealed, a complete roster is all set just ahead of the BetBoom Dacha 2024 and the DreamLeague Season 22 qualifiers.
The team welcomed former Xtreme Gaming player Daniel "Ghost" Chan and former Nigma Galaxy coach Roman "rmN-" Paley as its new offlaner and position four support, respectively, on 5th December.
Nigma Galaxy’s Dota 2 Roster Is Complete
On 5th January 2023, Nigma Galaxy officially announced the final iteration of its 2024 Dota 2 roster. It tweeted, “Some rumors are more true than others. We complete our roster by welcoming @Ghostdota98 and @rmN_dota to the team!”
The lineup features three TI [The International] winners in Miracle-, Sumail "SumaiL" Hassan, and Kuro "KuroKy" Salehi Takhasomi. Nigma Galaxy was lacking an offlaner due to the departure of Ivan "MinD_ContRoL" Ivanov and was without a position four support after Maroun "GH" Merhej went inactive. Thus, the organization brought in Ghost and rmN- to fill in the empty spots for the upcoming season.
The new roster of Nigma Galaxy is as follows:
Amer "Miracle-" Al-Barkawi
Sumail "SumaiL" Hassan
Daniel "Ghost" Chan
Roman "rmN-" Paley
Kuro "KuroKy" Salehi Takhasomi
Notably, Ghost previously played with Nigma Galaxy Sea in 2020, during which Nigma Galaxy Sea won Top Clans in 2020. His move to Nigma Galaxy marks a new beginning for him as he steps into the European region for the first time. With Ghost joining Nigma Galaxy, earlier rumors of Ivan "Pure" Moskalenko joining Nigma Galaxy have been proven false.
On the other hand, rmN- has been Nigma Galaxy’s coach since 2019 and has filled in as a player time and again for the team. However, it would be interesting to see how he fares as a full-time player. rmN- has an impressive track record in Dota 2 as he has won the OGA Dota PIT Season 2: Europe/CIS 2020 with Team Nigma.
With the BetBoom Dacha 2024 MENA (Middle East and North Africa) closed qualifier just looming around the corner, we will get to see the new Nigma Galaxy roster in action. rmN- and KuroKy have already proven their synergy in earlier tournaments and this new opportunity will allow fans to see what more they have in store. It will be interesting to see if the team plays around Miracle- like before or if they have new strategies to tackle the competition.
