Highlights
After a tumultuous departure from Tundra Esports, MinD_ContRoL returns to Dota 2, marking the end of a month-long hiatus.
During his break, MinD_ContRoL publicly apologized for his previous accusations towards Tundra Esports, citing a "big misunderstanding".
Despite his comeback, MinD_ContRoL struggles with a 40% win rate in his last 15 matches, experimenting with offlane and support roles.

Ivan “MinD_ContRoL” Ivanov made headlines earlier this year for leaving Tundra Esports and publicly criticizing the organization. Due to this incident, he was suspended indefinitely from the organization and an internal disciplinary investigation was said to be pending.

Amidst all this chaos, the 29-year-old offlaner went inactive on his main account 2 days after the incident and stopped playing Dota altogether.

His last recorded ranked match was on 28th Feb 2024 and it was clear that the whole Tundra incident was taking a toll on him as he had incurred a huge losing streak.

However, on 29th March, MinD_ContRoL was spotted playing Dota once again and started his ranked expedition with a Techies pick.

MinD_ContRoL Returns to Dota 2 After a Month-Long Break

MinD_ContRoL, who is currently sitting on the inactive roster of Tundra Esports has been spotted playing Dota 2 once again after a month-long break from the game.

The 29-year-old midlaner played his last ranked game on 28th February and thereafter stopped completely, which was concerning, to say the least.

It is possible that MinD_ContRoL decided to take a step back from the game and take a month-long break to mentally recoup from the Tundra incident.

During this break, MinD_ContRoL had taken to X and publicly apologized to Tundra for his earlier outburst and the strong accusations he had put towards the organization. He said that the whole incident was a big misunderstanding and caused due to his overreaction.

Now, it seems like MinD_ContRoL is finally back to playing Dota 2 once again as he started playing regularly once again on 29th March. However, things are not looking good for the 29-year-old offlaner as he has a mere 40% win rate in the last 15 matches.

According to MinD_ContRoL’s match history, he is currently playing a mix of offlane and position four supports in his ranked games.

His offlane hero picks seem to be inclined towards front liners and has opted for Dragon Knight, Sand King, and Beast Master. While his position four support hero pick is more inclined towards burst potential and control, opting for heroes like Leshrac, Techies, Shadow Shaman, and Tusk.

Since MinD_ContRoL is currently sitting on the inactive roster of Tundra Esports, it is unknown when is the next time that the Dota 2 community will get to see the offlaner in action.
