Highlights
Almost a month after his dramatic exit from Tundra, MinD_ContRoL publicly apologized for his public outburst.
He said that the whole incident was a misunderstanding and him having overreacted to the situation.
MinD_ContRoL also cleared all speculations of any beef against Tundra and he wished them the best of luck.

A public apology has been issued by currently suspended, offlaner for Tundra Esports, Ivan “MinD_ContRoL” Ivanov, for his earlier outburst against the Dota 2 organization. This follows a saga of public rage and accusations MinD_ContRoL made earlier this year.

The 29-year-old had left the team just minutes ahead of a DreamLeague Season 22 match against Shopify Rebellion, which according to him was due to Tundra allegedly breaking its promise of making him the captain.

On 21st March 2024, Thursday, MinD_ContRoL expressed that he was apologetic for his actions and the allegations he made against Tundra made it sound like the organization had wronged him. He summarized that the whole episode was a big misunderstanding.

MinD_ContRoL Apologizes for Earlier Drama With Tundra Esports

Hey guys, So after clearing out my head now, I wanna apologize to Pure, Moon, Zai, and Tundra for making it sound like they did something bad to me. I was emotional and said my feelings in the wrong way when I talked to Gorgc,” said MinD_ContRoL, in his public apology posted on X (formerly Twitter) following the earlier dramatic exit from Tundra Esports.

He added, “There was a misunderstanding that I was captain and could make all the decisions. Pure didn't steal it, but it was more like a team decision (I overreacted in that situation).

Additionally, MinD_ContRoL said, “We had a good trial period with Moon and I was ok with extending the tryout. He had a good impact on the Birmingham quals. The role of general manager was new to me. I was emotional and took the role of Zai and his advice in the wrong way. I didn't exactly understand his intentions.”

He concluded by mentioning that the timing was not right for an ultimatum and that he has no issues with anyone on the team or with any of the players, "There were some misunderstandings and that's why all of this happened. It's all chill, I wish the best of luck to Tundra, and see you soon.

In light of all the incidents that transpired, Tundra Esports had earlier released an official statement saying that MinD_ContRoL was suspended indefinitely from the team and there was an internal disciplinary action pending against him.

Since the incident, there has been no update on the action taken against MinD_ContRoL by Tundra. However, according to Liquipedia, he is still associated with the team.

AFK Gaming had earlier covered what MinD_ContRoL expressed during Janne “Gorgc” Stefanovski’s stream and you can read more about it below:
