According to the DOTA: Dragon's Blood page on Netflix, the second book “is coming on 18 January,” when previously it had stated that the season would be out on 6th Jan 2022.

On 10th Dec 2021, the release date and trailer had been announced along with a glimpse into the second season. It showcases a continuation from the first season, featuring heroes - Dragon Knight, Terrorblade, Mirana, and more in a battle between good and evil. It also dropped some hints as to how the second season might play out.

Due to a large number of characters and storylines within the Dota 2 lore, a lot of exciting and surprising elements might be revealed in this upcoming second edition.

For those who have not watched the first season, you can stream it on Netflix. There were eight episodes in the first season, and it is likely there will also be eight in the upcoming season.

For those who have watched the first season and were eagerly anticipating the second, they might have to wait for an official announcement from Valve although it is pretty likely that the release date has been moved to 18th Jan 2022.

The Korean studio of Studio Mir in association with the American screenwriter Ashley Edward Miller is developing DOTA: Dragon's Blood, a Valve and Netflix collaboration. Some well-known actors such as Yuri Lowenthal, Kari Wahlgren, and many more have provided the voices for various characters in the anime.
