“Dragon's Blood Book 2 Trailer — The whole season will launch on January 6, 2022. Get hyped,” wrote Dota 2 personality Wykrhm Reddy on Twitter.

In addition to indicating the diminishing importance of Selemene, who was worshipped both by Luna and Mirana, the trailer also highlights the increasing power of Terrorblade, who has killed all the Eldwyrms and stolen their souls. Throughout the trailer, we see Mirana and company making plans to defeat Terrorblade and this sequence of events generates a great deal of hype.

Dragons are a major part of the trailer, similar to the first season. Towards the end, Invoker indicates something significant by asking Vahdrak, a dragon in Dota 2’s lore, to wake up as his time had come.

With a month to go until the actual season comes out, a lot of speculation will likely take place regarding its plot. Studio Mir, which handled the production for the first season, will continue to be involved for the second season as well.

In case you have not watched the first season, you can stream it on Netflix. There are eight episodes in total. After its Netflix premiere on 25th March 2021, the series gained a lot of attention and was trending in a number of countries. Valve then revealed on 19th April 2021 that Season 2 (Book 2) of DOTA: Dragon's Blood was in the works. The teaser was later released at TI10 in October 2021.

Additionally, DOTA: Dragon's Blood's animatic editor, Robert Meyer Burnett, had revealed on his YouTube show in February 2021 that he is currently working on the 24th episode of the anime series. Considering the first season had eight episodes, there is a possibility that there will be three seasons of eight episodes each. However, there has been no official announcement for the same. For now, fans can get hyped for Book 2 of DOTA: Dragon's Blood, releasing soon next month.
