TNC Predator brings back their iconic Morphling-Earthshaker combo to pull off a fantastic series win over BOOM Esports. After being down 30K plus net worth in the first game, Gabbi and Tims were able to make an incredible comeback with their Morph-Shaker duo to close out the game in their favor. In the second game, TNC stomped BOOM as the latter looked out of sorts after the disastrous defeat in the first game. With this win, TNC has registered their third series victory of SEA 2021 DPC Season 1: Upper Division.

While the first Upper Division series of the day in SEA saw Fnatic grab a comfortable 2-0 victory over Vice Esports, the second series between TNC Predator and BOOM Esports was expected to be a close one.
In game 2, it seemed like BOOM had lost confidence after the miserable loss in the first one. Moreover, TNC displayed some top-notch Dota 2 gameplay and completely ran over their enemies. Gabbi was impeccable on Ursa and the team, as a whole, made all the right moves and countered any possible aggression from BOOM to win the match in 35 minutes.

With two consecutive series wins, the Filipino squad jumps to the third spot in the points table of SEA 2021 DPC Season 1: Upper Division. On the other hand, BOOM continues to suffer from their inability to close out games and now find itself in the fifth spot.

Kpii talks about TNC’s Morph-Shaker combo
TNC’s offlaner, Damien "kpii" Chok, was asked in the post-match winners’ interview if TNC had practiced the Morph-Shaker combo again in recent times, to which he responded,
“To be honest, I don’t recall a game where we practiced that specific combo. So, I think we were kind of shocked; at least I was a little bit. But I think maybe like Gabbi or Tims. I am sure they must have seen this before, so yeah, for them, it was another day in the office.”
