Shox Reportedly in Advanced Discussions With Team Liquid

Team Liquid seems to have started its preparation for the upcoming North American shuffle. The latest reports state that French veteran Richard "shox" Papillon could soon be joining Liquid as the two parties are in advanced discussions at the moment.

This news comes just a week after reports released claiming that the French organization, Team Vitality is planning on going international with former Astralis members, Peter "⁠dupreeh⁠" Rasmussen, Emil "⁠Magisk⁠" Reif, and Danny "⁠zonic⁠" Sørensen. These three players will be joining Vitality in place of Richard "⁠shox⁠" Papillon, Jayson "⁠Kyojin⁠" Nguyen Van, and Rémy "⁠XTQZZZ⁠" Quoniam.

Amidst these shuffles, it seems shox has managed to find a new home for himself, as he may be moving out of the French scene with a possibility of joining Team Liquid according to French outlet 1pv.fr.

Report: Shox might move to Team Liquid

The post Major roster shuffles are picking up steam, as some moves have already been made by top-tier organizations. Lots of reports have started to come in as teams prepare their lineups for the 2022 competitive season.

The latest reports coming forth have linked shox to the North American organization Team Liquid, as the two are supposedly already in advanced discussions. This information is inline with previous reports that point towards both Liquid and Vitality preparing for a roster overhaul.

While Vitality is going international with the addition of the Danish trio, Liquid is also looking for new players as both Jacky "Stewie2K" Yip and Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo might be on their way out of the team next year. While Liquid's manager has clearly stated that the current lineup is going to stick together till the end of the year, he also pointed towards preparing their lineup for the next competitive season.

Shox could be the replacement for FalleN, who is ready to go back to Brazil and create his supposed superteam, which is turning out to be the former SK Gaming quartet so far. Team Liquid seems to be banking towards veteran, experienced riflers rather than young blood to complete its roster.

It remains to be seen if this lineup change actually comes through or not, as there are still a few tournaments left to be played before the year comes to an end. Also, there are reports about former CS:GO pro Nicholas "nitr0" Cannella returning back to the Valve shooter after competing in Valorant for slightly more than a year, and even he might most likely be joining Liquid.
