Aunkere explains that due to negotiations related to sticker money percentage many deals had fallen through.
Aunkere had earlier stated that a UK based esports organization had shown an interest in signing his team, BenchedHeroes.
Popular Russian streamer Buster also wanted to sign this roster, but due to alleged high salary demands, was forced to drop it.

The mixed CS:GO roster of BenchedHeroes that came together ahead of the Europe RMR qualifiers (Regional Major Rankings) has managed to make it all the way through to the IEM Rio Major 2022: European RMR B.

Earlier this month, Evgeniy "Aunkere" Karyat had stated that the makeshift team might get signed by a British esports organization ahead of the Major qualifier, but nothing promising has transpired so far.

During a recent Twitch stream, Aunkere while conversing with his viewers revealed that the main reason behind BenchedHeroes not being picked up by an organization is disagreement on the percentage split of sticker money.

Aunkere explains why organizations are reluctant to sign BenchedHeroes for the CS:GO Major

BenchedHeroes managed to secure itself a fifth place finish in the fourth and final open qualifiers for the European RMR and the team is confident it will be able to defeat NAVI in its opening match.

While the team continues to prepare for the upcoming Major qualifiers, scheduled to take place from 4th to 9th October in Malta, certain organizations have reportedly held talks with the team to sign them for the upcoming Major but it has resulted in nothing so far.

Smooya requesting orgs to sign them

Speaking on the situation Aunkere revealed that BenchedHeroes has already uploaded all required stickers to Steam and went on to explain how stickers work in CS:GO, "Usually all of the percentage from individual stickers goes to the player, but the percentage from team stickers goes to the organization, and the rest is divided between players, manager, coaches, and so on."

He went on to share that between them they have an understanding that the team stickers would be equally divided among the five players, 20% going to each one of them.

"So it doesn't make sense for organizations to sign us. Only for us to fly under their tag to the Majors (IEM Rio)," said Aunkere, "All the organizations that were interested in us, asked about the percentage of stickers. That was the main point of the negotiations, because without that there was no point in signing us."

Note: The above was originally in Russian (Cybersport) and has been translated into English using DeepL.

Earlier reports had surfaced that a UK based organization might be in talks with the team which seems to have fallen through. After this, popular Russian streamer Vyacheslav "Buster" Leontiev had also shown an interest in signing the players, claiming that due to high salary demands he was forced to back out of the deal.
