Famous Twitch streamer Imane “Pokimane” Anys recently tried her hands at CS:GO. The 23-year-old tried to get a hang of the classic first-person shooter with some help from her audience via the chat, and it resulted in this hilarious moment where she whiffed her spray with an AK-47 as the chat tried to explain to her how to use the popular assault rifle.
In the clip, Pokimane can be seen rushing B on Dust 2 playing the T-side. After entering the upper tunnel, she takes a peek towards the lower tunnel and turns around to find two CT-sided players charging at her. She reacts instantly trying to gun them down but ends up missing all her shots because of an uncontrolled spray.
She finishes an entire magazine and is still not able to make a kill shouting in anguish “why is the recoil like this!”, the chat jumps in to help her out by telling her to 'pull-down' as she realizes her mistake.
Honestly, anyone playing the game for the first time has a really hard time getting a hang on the recoil control. But it was amazing to see how helpful the chat was, guiding her by recommending ‘tapping’ instead of ‘spraying’ while also suggesting her to pull down her mouse to counteract the recoil.
CS:GO has been witnessing an increase in its average and peak concurrent player statistics since the start of 2020, reaching record-breaking numbers on 10th February. With popular Twitch streamers also tuning into the game from time-to-time and Rio Major right around the corner, it might be a great first half for the veteran shooter.
