With this, the previous record for obtaining 461,408.2 average players, which was set on 3rd January 2020 has been broken, as 503,719.6 average players were recorded playing the game in the last 30 days.
In the month of January itself, CS:GO has gone on to record more than 800,000+ concurrent players after a period of three years. The game has recorded 817,229 peak concurrent players in the last 30 days which is also the second-highest peak player count in the history of the game.
CS:GO has been consistently seeing great numbers ever since the release of Operation Shattered Web on 18th November 2019. The year has started off really well for the massively popular first-person shooter, but the question remains that for how long will it be able to hold on to these numbers.
