Parv "ReGaLToS" Singh currently plays for  India’s most loved clan, Team SouL. Led by player and streamer MortaL, SouL has risen to the top of the Indian PUBG Mobile scene in the last 2 years, with other Indian legends like Ronak, Owais, Sc0utOP and Slayer playing for the team at various points before moving to Fnatic and TeamIND. SouL owes a lot of its fandom, being a breath of fresh air and positivity accompanied with results. Their assaulter and IGL, ReGaLToS, is no different. Here’s us in conversation with him, one of India’s top PUBG Mobile players.

SouL ReGaLToS' Tryst With Mobile Gaming

ReGaLToS’ journey with mobile gaming started off with Clash of Clans following a fracture to his arm while playing cricket and continued with DA2 Mini Militia. When PUBG Mobile newly entered the market and blew up, it came up on his radar and after playing, he was hooked. ReGaLToS initially led a team of 4 friends called 4HM. During his time with them, he improved on his IGL skills that we now see in action at SouL. While under his leadership, SouL rose to great heights, a major highlight being their second-place finish at PMCO Fall Split: South Asia 2019.

ReGaLToS’ family initially did not approve of their son’s entry into the gaming world. Given the stigma the game still carries in India today, it is not hard to see why. However, when ReGaLToS’s parents attended his first LAN event, they saw the hype and got on board. Now he enjoys their support and appreciation, something rare for a gaming career even today.

ReGaLToS knew MortaL even before Team SouL was a thing and when a few original SouL members left the team, MortaL approached him with an offer he couldn’t refuse. After a brief trial, ReGaLToS became the IGL for Team SouL moving forward. Recently, Team SouL had a successful boot camp alongside 8Bit, an experience ReGaLToS says helped him immensely, from coming on schedule to becoming independent.

ReGaLToS and Team SouL’s philosophy with dealing hate can be summed up with 2 words - Be positive. The team always tries to maintain a fun, positive attitude towards the game, whether it be losses or trolling or other obstacles they might encounter.  Although there are times where ReGaLToS and his team members do rage, they are actively trying to improve on that front. ReGaLToS’ has cultivated a humble attitude under the mentorship of MortaL and wants to make the most of his time with Team SouL. When asked about his future plans with SouL, ReGaLToS says he wants to move forward and achieve a lot more.
