Velocity Gaming has recently unveiled its highly anticipated roster for Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI). The newly announced BGMI roster comprises a combination of experienced players and promising talents including Ashutosh "Punkk" Singh and Harsh "IMMORTAL" Shrivastava, A1mbot, and Octavius. Following the return of BGMI after a ten month suspension and the positive effect it has had in the Indian esports scene, Velocity Gaming is ready to make a strong statement with its new lineup.

Punkk and IMMORTAL who previously played together under Team XO, join forces once again as key members of Velocity Gaming's BGMI team. Their partnership has resulted in remarkable achievements, including triumphs in the Skyesports Grand Slam 2022 and Upthrust Esports India Rising 2022 tournaments. Notably, they also secured a commendable third place in both the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2021 and PUBG Mobile India Series 2020. Joining them are A1mbot and Octaviuss two rising stars who have consistently demonstrated their skills in competitive scrims.

The newly formed lineup looks promising, with a combination of experienced players and rising talents. The team is expected to participate in various upcoming BGMI tournaments, such as Skyesports Championship 2023, that will provide them with opportunities to showcase their skills and compete against other top-tier teams in the BGMI esports.

Prior to the game’s suspension, Velocity Gaming boasted a lineup that featured some of the finest BGMI players in the country including Raj “Snax” Varma, Daljit "Daljitsk" Singh, Randeep "Attanki" Bhullar, and Samir "Kratos" Choubey. However, after a series of disappointing results, the team eventually disbanded.

This announcement holds particular significance for Velocity Gaming, as it marks the organization’s reentry into BGMI. This marks the first major signing for Velocity Gaming after it disbanded its Valorant division earlier in May. Speculations about the organization potentially discontinuing its esports operations in India had risen following that decision. Hence the unveiling of the BGMI roster could prove to be a welcome relief to the organization’s fans.
