Day 1 of the Upthrust Esports Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) India Rising Series 2024 Week 2 qualifiers has concluded with seasoned teams dominating the event. Experienced teams like Team XSpark, iQOO Soul and Orangutan dominated Day 1 of the event.
Mohammad “Manya” Raja and Rudra “Spower” from iQOO Soul dominated the finish leaderboards with 15 and 11 finishes respectively.
The Upthrust Esports India Rising Series 2024 Weeks 1 and 2 will see 24 teams competing for a spot in the Grand Finals.
Upthrust Esports BGMI India Rising Series 2024 Week 2 Day 1 Match Summary
Match 1 Erangel: iQOO Soul secured a 27 point chicken dinner. Mohammad “Manya” Raja from iQOO Soul was the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the match with 8 finishes. Uprising Rivals placed second and secured 16 points. R Esports placed third and got 9 points. Hydra Esports placed fourth and got 8 points, all coming via finishes. Team 8Bit placed fifth and got 7 points.
Match 2 Miramar: Medal Esports secured a 14 point chicken dinner. WindGod Esports placed second and got 13 points. Team 8Bit and Enigma Gaming placed third and fourth and got 11 points each. Godx from Enigma Gaming was the MVP of the match with 6 finishes. iQOO Soul placed fifth and got 7 points.
Match 3 Erangel: Team Forever grabbed a 15 point chicken dinner. Uprising Rivals placed second and got 15 points, 9 of which came via finishes. Sam from Uprising Rivals was the MVP of the match with 7 solo finishes. Hydra Esports placed third, showed aggressive gameplay and got 11 points. Team XSpark and Gujarat Tigers placed fourth and fifth and got 8 points each. Team Aaru was eliminated in the initial stages without any points.

Gujarat Tigers and Team Aaru placed fourth and fifth and got 9 and 8 points respectively. Entity Gaming, Team 8Bit and Carnival Gaming were eliminated early without any points.
Match 6 Miramar: Team Psyche secured a 24 point chicken dinner. Striker from Team Psyche was the MVP of the match with 6 finishes. WSB Gaming and Orangutan placed second and third and got 10 points each. Gods Reign and Marcos Gaming placed fourth and fifth and got 9 and 6 points respectively. Uprising Rivals was eliminated early with zero points.

Day 1 of the event was dominated by seasoned teams like iQOO Soul, Orangutan and Team XSpark along with upcoming teams like Uprising Rivals.
