Team Soul has been one of the most consistent teams since the return of Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) in May 2023. It has also dominated Round 4 of the ongoing Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023.

After an intense six days of battle in the Grand Finals, Team Soul was crowned the Omega Slayers (OS) Invitational 2023 Champion. The squad showed consistent performances all throughout the League Stages as well as the Grand Finals. Velocity Gaming and Entity Gaming were the close contenders for the first couple of days in the Grand Finals but they failed to continue their momentum and placed second and third respectively.

Team Soul dominates and wins OS Invitational 2023

Team Soul was placed on the top spot after the first three days of the Grand Finals and it was a close contest between teams like Velocity Gaming and Entity Gaming as only a few points separated the top three teams.

Day 4 saw Entity Gaming dethrone Team Soul from the top spot but the points difference among these teams was still less. Entity Gaming and Velocity Gaming were the title contenders on the first four days but they had a sub par Day 5, whereas Team Soul continued its momentum and increased its lead to 56 points and also grabbed the top spot.

Velocity Gaming and Entity Gaming were able to make a comeback on the last day of the Grand Finals but it was too late as Team Soul had already boosted its already massive lead to 91 points to be crowned the champion.

Team Soul was able to secure 165 finish points along with 265 placement points, both of them being the highest in the Grand Finals. It was also able to grab four chicken dinners along the way. Akshat "Akshat" Goel was the top fragger for the team as well as the Most Valuable Player (MVP)  in the Grand Finals. Harsh "Goblin" Paudwal who was benched by the team for BGIS 2023 also played the event and was placed third in the MVP list with 49 finishes to his name.

The event had a massive prize pool of INR 12,00,000. Team Soul received INR 4,50,000, Velocity Gaming placed second receiving INR 3,00,000 and Entity Gaming placed third receiving INR 2,00,000. Akshat was the MVP for the Grand Finals and received INR 50,000.

Fans are hopeful that this victory strengthens Team Souls' confidence so that it can maintain its momentum and dominate the BGIS 2023 Semi Finals, which will commence soon.
