Aman shares tips on how to dominate the in-game qualifiers of BGIS 2024
BGIS is the marquee event in the BGMI season and consists of some of the best teams from India. If upcoming teams want to compete against these teams they will have to go through the in-game qualifiers and grab a spot in the event's further stages. The open qualifiers or the in-game qualifiers are played in the Classic mode matches and players must grab a certain number of points in each match if they want to qualify for further stages of the event.
These are some of the tips shared by Aman on how teams can dominate the in-game qualifiers:
Two - Two Splits:
Aman reveals that the most important part for securing the most number of finishes is that the four players in a team split into two teams. He said that teams have to accumulate at least 40-50 finishes per match which will be difficult to achieve if all the players play together.
Gun Combo:
Aman said that the best gun combo to use in qualifiers is the M416 Assault Rifle and the DBD Shotgun. The M416 is one of the most stable weapons in mid and long range fights and its spray can be controlled easily. On the other hand the DBS Shotgun is a beast in close range and has been in the meta for quite some time. A single DBS magazine is enough to wipe out a four man squad in close range with ease.
Minimum 40 finishes:
Aman says that a team will get 15 matches to play in the open qualifiers and they should target at least 40 finishes in the majority of the matches along with the chicken dinner. If teams are unable to do so their qualification may not be possible.
Drop Location:
Aman said that players and teams should avoid hot drops as it is a risky move if the team gets eliminated in the initial stages of a match. He says that taking a safe drop and finding a vehicle like a Buggy is essential, once players have a vehicle and enough loot they can take fights.
Aman has been one of the most prominent players in the BGMI and PUBG Mobile scene. He was one of the Most Valuable Players (MVP) for Entity Gaming when it won the PUBG Mobile Club Open (PMCO) Fall Split: South Asia. He also acted as a coach for Team Soul (now iQOO Soul) when it won its first BGMI title, Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) Season 1 2022.
With the new scoring system revealed by Krafton, the game’s publisher, it will be important for teams to show aggressive gameplay and grab as many finishes as possible in each match they play in the qualifiers.
