Skyesports BGMI Mobile Open 2024 Quarter Finals: Teams, Format, Prize Pool and More

Skyesports has revealed its second Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) event of the 2024 season named Skyesports Mobile Open. The event had open qualifiers for upcoming teams along with teams directly invited to play the Quarter Finals stage. The event boasts a prize pool of INR 10 Lakhs with prize money and awards for special individual performances.

It has been revealed that the top 10 teams from the Skyesports BGMI rankings leaderboards have been directly invited to play the Quarter Finals. The invited teams have performed consistently across previous Skyesports organized BGMI events and have earned a spot directly in the event. Godlike Esports, one of the well known BGMI teams was placed in the top 10 but it has been revealed that the team is unavailable for the event so the next best team, Team Tamilas, has been invited to the Quarter Finals.

Format

The Skyesports BGMI Mobile Open 2024 event saw 1024 teams competing in the open qualifiers. The Quarter Finals of the event will see 32 teams, 22 teams from the open qualifiers and the pre quarter finals stage and 10 teams invited from the Skyesports BGMI Rankings leaderboards. The top 16 teams from the Quarter Finals will advance to the Semi Finals and the bottom 16 will play the lower bracket stage. The top 8 teams from the lower bracket stage will qualify to play the Semi Finals. The Semi Finals will see 24 teams competing from which the top 16 will play the Grand Finals.

Where to watch Skyesports Mobile Open 2024?

The Skyesports Mobile Open 2024 event will be live streamed on the official Skyesports Youtube Channel and the Skyesports Rooter Channel from 20th March 12 PM onwards.

iQOO Soul, WSB Gaming and Entity Gaming will be the favorites to win the event as the teams have shown consistent performances across events in the 2024 BGMI season so far and they have also won multiple tournaments. A few upcoming teams like GenxFM Esports, WindGod Esports, Genesis Esports and more will also look to put forth consistent performances.
