SENSEI on BGMI Unban Update: "If anyone is giving you any updates, it is all wrong, because no one knows anything"
It has been over two months since BGMI was removed from Google Play Store and Apple’s App Store without any apparent reason or prior announcement. Apart from the game’s removal and MeitY’s confirmation that it is blocked under Section 69A of the IT Act 2000, neither the game’s publisher, Krafton, nor the government has announced anything. Many BGMI creators and professional players have revealed their thoughts regarding the game’s return in the past few weeks. Some say they are concerned about the game’s return, whereas others believe it will return in or after December. In his recent livestream, Deepak “SENSEI” Negi, who currently plays for Team XO, talked about BGMI.
SENSEI says everything related to BGMI is confidential
In a recent interview, SENSEI’s viewers asked him about BGMI’s current situation; he said there are no updates so far. He further added that if anyone is giving them any updates, it is all wrong. He further claimed that no one knows anything as everything is confidential. He clarified that the government is still involved in the matter. As a result, everything is confidential.
SENSEI said, “I have no update regarding the game so far. Also, if anyone is giving you any updates, it is all wrong, because no one knows anything.” Further, he added, “Everything is confidential. As the government is still involved, everything is confidential. If I get any update, I will let you know.”
Additionally, BGMI Caster Spero also said the same in his recent livestream. He said getting any leaks about the game is impossible because the issue is strictly confidential. Spero added that Krafton had been asked by the authorities not to disclose any information about the game. He also said that all of the leaks to this point are incorrect.
“On the topic of the game’s comeback, everyone is saying that they have leaks; I believe it’s impossible to get any leaks. Because it is a strictly confidential topic, the IT Act 2000, through which BGMI is blocked, is considered very confidential,” said Spero. He added, “The Government of India has asked Krafton not to leak anything regarding the game. If anyone is giving you any leaks, then that leak is not true, in my opinion, because no one has any leaks.”
It is not yet sure whether BGMI will come back or not, but it has already started to lose its hype. A few BGMI creators, like Casetoo and Maxtern, have already quit BGMI. Additionally, others are planning to switch to other games if BGMI does not return.
