The revamped ONIC PH showed off its talented youngbloods by achieving its first victory in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines (PH) Season 10. The team secured a 2-1 win against Bren Esports on the second day of the regular season. Through a postmatch press conference, ONIC PH’s last remaining veteran player Nowee "Ryota" Cabailo shared how he felt sadness with regards to his former teammates’ departure. As the player with the most experience, the amateur players also rely on him for his expertise on the professional stage. However, the EXP Laner expressed that he is still happy that his former squad mates are front and center in their respective teams.

Rapidoot puts forth astonishing performance as the new face of ONIC PH dominates Bren Esports in its first match of the season

A lot of fans were looking forward to seeing ONIC PH’s revamped squad in action. The team did not fail to surprise fans as it put forth a dominant performance in its first match against Bren Esports.

ONIC PH’s sensational roamer Ralph “Rapidoot” Adrales spearheaded the team into making a massive comeback in the third deciding match with his Atals. Just when everyone thought the match was over, a last-minute effort by Rapidoot turned the tides and resulted in a four-man Fatal Links which allowed his team to recover.

Capitalizing on this opportunity, Frince “SUPER FRINCE” Ramirez led the charge with his Faramis and opened up potential pickoffs for Kenneth "Nets" Barro’s Clint. The match series ended with a 2-1 victory for ONIC PH.

Ryota shared his thoughts on being the only veteran player in ONIC PH

Being the only remaining veteran from the former ONIC PH squad, Ryota admitted that he felt sad that everyone had left.

“We got separated, it made me feel sad. But since they found a new team, I’m happy for them,” stated the veteran EXP Laner through a postmatch press conference.

He added that his former squad’s dream lives on but separately and “as long as they can achieve a championship title, I’ll be happy.”

ONIC PH will have a long break and prepare for its next match against Nexplay EVOS on 20th August at 4:00 PM (PHT). Bren Esports, on the other hand, still has one last chance to end the first week with a win against TNC Pro Team on 14th August at 6:00 PM (PHT).
