Demonkite's Fanny was the highlight of the series with MLBB personalities praising him as the next Fanny God.
RSG PH will now proceed to the Grand Finals match and have already secured a place at the MSC 2022.

RSG PH’s rise to the top was one of the highlights of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines (PH) Season 9. Not only has the team secured its grand finals spot in the regional league, but the renowned Kingslayers shall also be heading to the upcoming Mobile Legends Southeast Asia Cup (MSC) 2022. Shortly after defeating TNC Pro Team with a 3-0 clean sweep victory, RSG PH’s star Jungler Jonard "Demonkite" Cedrix Caranto revealed that he initially struggled due to the sudden shift in the meta.

However, inspiration from his mentor Danerie "Wise" James Del Rosario kept him motivated until he was able to adjust to the meta.

"If Wise Can Be Versatile, So Can I," Exclaims Demonkite as RSG PH Secured Grand Finals Spot

The current meta of MLBB heavily favors tank heroes and junglers who rely on the Jungle Emblem. However, RSG PH proved that it can think outside the box with Demonkite’s Fanny pick in the second game against TNC Pro Team.

Demonkite's Fanny spearheaded RSG PH to a dominant Game 2.

The match series eventually ended in a dominant sweep victory for RSG PH, earned its MPL PH Season 9 grand finals spot, and booked a ticket to the MSC 2022.

Demonkite received praises from fans and was even lauded by some of the popular MLBB content creators and pro players who considered him the next Fanny God.

RSG PH’s star jungler revealed that he practiced a lot just to master how to use Fanny. While he was not able to use the hero in their main practices, Demonkite was able to train himself through ranked games.

He added that he took inspiration from his mentor, Blacklist International’s Wise, as both of them have been trying to adjust to the meta while also coming up with unique ways to play the game competitively.

“At first, of course, I struggled. Then I remembered from my idol, he used to be a mage user and he became a versatile player,” explained Demonkite. “I was inspired by how he [Wise] can switch roles so if Wise can do it, so can I.”

RSG PH will have its grand final match on 1st May. It will be interesting to see if the Kingslayers will finally acquire its first championship title in the MPL PH Season 9.
