With the conclusion of the 31st Southeast Asia (SEA) Games' Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) event, fans are now setting their sights on the upcoming MLBB SEA Cup (MSC) 2022. The representatives for the Philippines - RSG PH and Omega Esports are now all set to compete in the regional event which will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The main rosters for both the Philippines teams have been revealed along with their reliable 6th man to help their championship bid. The MSC 2022 is set to kick off with a Group Draw on 29th May to determine the group distributions for each participating team.

MSC 2022 rosters for RSG PH and Omega Esports revealed featuring the veterans Exort and Z4pnu as substitute players

Last year’s crowned champion squad of Execration shall return to defend its title under the Omega Esports banner. While the team made slight changes to its roster, its title of being the “Comeback Kings” persists as proven by them during the MLBB Professional League (MPL) PH Season 9.

Omega Esports’ roster for the MSC 2022 is composed of Duane “Kelra” Pillas, Joshua “Ch4knu” Mangilog, Patrick “E2MAX” Caidic, Renz “Renzio” Cadua, and Dean “Raizen” Sumagui.

The team’s iconic veteran player Billy “Z4pnu” Alfonso will also join the squad as its substitute player while Jomie "Pakbet" Abalos shall act as the coach. This means that last year’s star Jungler Kielvj “Kielvj” Hernandez will not be joining the team this time.

The MPL PH Season 9 champion, RSG PH will be fielding its five main players Dylan “Light” Catipon, Nathanael “Nathzz” Estrologo, Arvie “Aqua” Calderon, Jhonard “Demonkite” Caranto, and Eman “EMANN” Sangco. The veteran player Dexter “Exort” Martinez will be joining the renowned Kingslayers as a substitute player.

For the upcoming regional event, Karl Luigi “Coach Giee” Barrientos will act as the team’s coach instead of Brian “Panda” Lim.

MSC 2022 Roster for RSG PH

Unlike the regional MLBB leagues such as the MPL PH, the MSC 2022 only allows up to six players per team. This means that participants will have to build a strategy focusing on their main lineup instead of the usual roster shuffling tactic to spice up the competition.

Group Stage distributions for the MSC 2022 are yet to be revealed. Drawing will be done on 29th May leading to the official start of the tournament on 11th June.
