To kick off the esports circuit, a tournament titled “Wild Rift Season Start” will be held on July 9 and 10 and will feature four invited teams from the country and will be streamed live on NimoTV. The event will kick off with a tournament titled “Wild RIft Season Start,” an invitational tournament that will last for two days, starting on July 9, 2021. The event will feature four Brazillian esports teams competing for a BRL 55,000 ($11,000 USD) prize pool. The Wild RIft Season Start will be streamed exclusively on the streaming platform NimoTV. After the invitational event, the main esports circuit “Wild Tour” will start with four open qualifiers in August and September 2021. This will be the first national championship circuit for Wild Rift in Brazil. Participating teams will accumulate points throughout the open qualifiers with the top eight teams proceeding to the grand finals. Unlike the invitational tournament, the Wild Tour will be streamed on various live streaming platforms for the fans to enjoy. More details on where to watch the Wild Tour esports circuit will be revealed at a later date.

For the grand finals, the matches will be played offline in October 2021 and will be held at a Riot Games studio in São Paulo, Brazil. However, there is more at stake than just the championship title and the prize pool. Aside from the tournament prizes, the winning team will also be given a slot in the upcoming Wild Rift World Championship 2021 which is scheduled to take place before the year ends.

Not much has been revealed about the Wild Tour esports circuit. However, Riot Games stated that more details will be revealed during the invitational tournament Wild Rift Season Start on July 9 and 10, 2021. The company also stated that fans can look forward to a more robust and action-packed 2022 as they have prepared esports events throughout different regions.

Wild Rift’s esports scene is spreading so fast that it has already started its first national championships in Brazil, even while it’s still in its open beta phase. It will be interesting to see which teams will be seeing in the upcoming Wild Tour esports circuit.
