Revenant Esports has expanded to a five man BGMI roster following the addition of Sayyam to its lineup.
After competing in the BGMI Masters Series 2022 with Team XSpark, Sayyam has parted ways with them to join Revenant.
The new Revenant Esports BGMI roster will be seen in action at the upcoming BGMI Showdown scheduled to take place from 21st to 24th July.

Revenant Esports has made a roster shuffle in its BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India) lineup, signing Sayyam "Sayyam" Otswal over from Team XSpark to bolster themselves for the remainder of the competitive season.

The team has not been able to showcase its best performance so far this year, crashing out of the recently concluded BGMI Masters Series 2022 (BGMS) with a last-place finish in the grand finals.

The fact that Revenant's best placement has been a third-place finish at the first-ever BGMI LAN tournament, NODWIN Loco All Stars Invitational, speaks volumes about the slump it has been facing for quite some time.

Sayyam leaves Team XSpark to join Revenant Esports BGMI roster

Revenant Esports has expanded its active BGMI lineup to include five players following the addition of Sayyam. The team hopes to bolster its lineup and end its poor steak.

Most recently, Sayyam had been spotted competing with Team XSpark at the BGMS 2022 alongside Tanmay "Scout" Singh and Harmandeep "Mavi" Singh. He has also previously been a part of Team iNSANE Esports, a bittersweet experience due to the conflict that arose between him and the organization.

Sayyam is a talented player with an affinity towards the role of an Assaulter. He is one of the top picks as he shows a lot of potential for growth. Revenant decided to go with him because they think Sayyam will provide the team with the edge required to overcome opponents on the battlefield.

Rohit N Jagasia - Founder and CEO of Revenant Esports, spoke about the inclusion of Sayyam and said that "Sayyam has an impeccable eye and reads the game perfectly. He also has a very sharp game-play approach which will surely enhance the performance of our team holistically. His experience of playing alongside BGMI veterans like Scout and Mavi, as well as the skill of going for the kill at crucial points will definitely be a plus point for us."

As for the player, Sayyam himself is thrilled to become a part of Revenant Esports, "With all my experience and grind in the game, I am really looking forward to take the team to the next level. The team has always been consistent in the BGMI scene and I am looking forward to utilising my experience and contribute in bringing more glory for the roster."

With this addition, the Revenant Esports BGMI lineup looks as follows:

  • Rishabh "Encore" Katoch - Filter/Scout

  • Sayyam "Sayyam" Otswal - Assaulter

  • Ankit "Topdawg" Mehra - Assaulter (Entry)

  • Jaideep "Ky0ya" Mankar - Assaulter (Support)

  • Parichay "Paradox" Bansal - IGL

This new roster will be seen in action soon at the upcoming Battlegrounds Mobile India Showdown 2022 (BMSD) which is a LAN tournament scheduled to take place from 21st to 24th July.
