Global Esports are the champions of BGMI Masters Series 2022, following an astounding last day comeback.
GE was only fifth on the leaderboards on the penultimate day, but scored 58 points in the last four matches to win the tournament and lift the trophy on live television.
With this victory Global Esports has won three of its last four tournaments.

Global Esports has been crowned as the champions of the BGMI Masters Series 2022 (BGMS) which took place from 24th June to 17th July, featuring a total prize pool of INR 1.5 crore.

After four weeks of intense matches, including both the qualifier stage and the grand finals, one of the biggest Indian esports tournaments of the year has finally concluded, breaking some viewership records on the way.

The last day of the grand finals stage witnessed an incredible push from Global Esports who went from being fifth on the points table to finishing on top, gathering a total of 58 points including a WWCD (Winner Winner Chicken Dinner) in the penultimate match.

With a total of 201 points under its wings, including 101 placement points, the young BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India) roster of Global Esports successfully turned things around for themselves big time on the final day of the BGMS 2022.

GE held the fifth position on the leaderboard with a total of 143 points at the end of the fourth day on 16th July. Despite having teams like GodLike Esports, Orangutan, Team SouL, and Chemin Esports in front, a difference of 35 points seprating them from the top spot, GE did not lose hope.

With four matches left to go, GE went in with a fighting mindset to play hard till the very last map. It did not bode well in the first match of the day as they managed to score just a single point before being eliminated, but instead of fizzling out and taking the backseat, GE kept at it.

In the next match they scored 14 points and using this momentum went on to secure a decent WWCD in the third match, bagging an additional 23 points, before scoring a final 20 points in the last match of the tournament.

With 58 points in the bag on the final day, GE's tally went up to 201 points, a difference of four points separating them from the second-ranked GodLike Esports, who led the points table for the majority of the grand finals stage.

Continuing on its hot streak of wins, Global Esports went on to lift yet another trophy at the BGMS 2022, its biggest victory so far since having entered competitive BGMI last year. With this victory, GE has now won three of its last four tournaments including THUG Invitational Season 5 and TEC: BGMI Invitational Season 4.
