Rapidoot changed his in-game name to Dudut.
Rapidoot was sent to the MDL squad so that he gets more time to focus on his education while also being able to compete as a pro player.

ONIC Philippines (PH) officially announced its roster for the upcoming Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Development League Philippines (MDL PH) Season 1. The squad is named ONIC Arsenals and is composed of promising players along with the seasoned veteran, Ralph "Dudut" Adrales also known as Rapidoot. The pro player was a part of ONIC Esports’ Mobile Legends Professional League (MPL) roster before he got sent to the development squad. However, this decision was made in order to provide Dudut more time to focus on his education while still being able to compete in MLBB esports.

The MDL PH Season 1 is set to be held on 15th February featuring eight teams from the franchise league and two invited amateur teams competing for the championship title.

Why is Rapidoot playing in MDL instead of MPL?

Rapidoot was one of the most iconic players in ONIC PH during Season 10. The pro player had an impressive debut season despite the squad only securing 5th place in the tournament. However, to fans’ surprise, he was sent to ONIC Arsenal as its team captain instead of ONIC PH for Season 11.

The esports organization explained why Rapidoot, who is now named Dudut, was signed under the MDL roster through a Facebook comment under its post.

“Time constraints in MPL since it’s an offline event and requires too many preparations. Unlike in MDL Season 1 that’s an online format which gives Dudut flexibility to do both esports work and school at the same time,” explained ONIC Arsenal.

This change will not be permanent as Rapidoot/Dudut will go back to the MPL scene soon when he finally completes his responsibilities as a student.

“Don’t Worry, You’ll see him back in the MPL scene soon. Keep Supporting ONIC Dudut,” ONIC Arsenal wrote.

It will be interesting to see how Rapidoot performs alongside his new teammates in the upcoming MDL PH Season 1.
