The Call of Duty (COD): Mobile Garena Masters 2022 Season 3 concluded with Omega Esports claiming the championship title. The grand final was a fated rematch against Blacklist International Ultimate similar to last season’s grand final match. With its championship win, Omega Esports will head home with $10,000 USD prize money. The team will also head to the Garena regional qualifiers and compete for a slot in the upcoming COD Mobile World Championship 2022 Finals against the top teams from Indonesia, Taiwan, and Singapore. This also marks the second championship title that Omega Esports has won in the COD Mobile Garena Masters league.

The grand final was nothing short of intense matches. Blacklist International was able to take both Hardpoint maps. However, Omega Esports proved its dominance on the other maps and claimed a massive lead in the Search and Destroy maps to close the series with a 3-2 victory.

The matchup also saw both teams drafting their latest additions to the teams - Nel “R1SKY” Buemio from Smart Omega and Shan Rouise “FDx” Mateo from Blacklist International Ultimate. These two players replaced Kevin “Kevs” Baguio and Railey “Yobabs” Abrenica, respectively, as a way to bypass the age restrictions imposed for the later stages of the COD Mobile World Championship 2022.

With its championship title secured, Omega Esports thanked its fans for the support through a Facebook post. In the post, the esports organization wrote, ‘We couldn't have won this without your support, Barangay Omega! The chants, the unison in the ballroom, the shouts of pure support to the players of Smart Omega, this for you guys, MARAMING SALAMAT! (Thank you very much!)“

Omega Esports’ journey is far from over. The team will now head to the next stage where it will compete against the top teams from Indonesia, Taiwan, and Singapore in the COD Mobile World Championship 2022 Garena Finals for a World Finals seed.
