Godlike Esports Win COD Mobile World Championship Regional Playoffs for India

Godlike Esports won the Indian regional playoffs of the Call of Duty (COD) Mobile World Championship. Godlike Esports won 4-3 against Team Vitality to win Stage 4 and qualified for the World Championship Final which shall be an offline event scheduled for December 2022. Team Vitality also ended up qualifying for the Finals event, making it to the two teams being seeded from the Indian region. Both teams were neck-to-neck, going 3-3 before Godlike took the lead in Map 6 sealing its win and the Stage 4 prize of $30,000 USD. Meanwhile, Vitality walked away with $15,000 USD for coming in second. Samruddha "SAMs" Ghadge earned the MVP award.

COD Mobile World Championship 2022 Stage 4: Results

On day 1 of the Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship Stage 4, Enigma Gaming and Godlike Esports advanced to Day 2 with a score of 2-0. Revenant Esports and Team Vitality advanced with a score of 2-1.

On Day 2, Team Vitality beat Enigma Gaming and Godlike Esports to qualify for the Grand Finals of Stage 4. After being demoted to the Elimination Finals, Godlike Esports beat Enigma Gaming and made it to the Grand Finals of Stage 4. Vitality had a map advantage going into the Grand Finals and won the Hardpoint round 250-219. Godlike dealt a crushing defeat to Vitality in Map 2 with a score of 7-1. Vitality bounced back with Map 3 taking control 3-2. Godlike took the next three maps winning the series 4-3. The final bracket standings at the end of Day 2 were as follows:

Stage 4 of the tournament has ended for Latin America and India. The Japanese and European regional playoffs will take place on 20th and 21st August. The North American regional playoffs will take place on 27th and 28th August. All the Stage 4 events will be streamed on the Call of Duty: Mobile YouTube channel. The last event is Stage 5, the World Championship Final offline event scheduled for December 2022. The finals alone are set to have a prize pool of $1.7 million.
