Blacklist International was hit with a shocking outplay by ECHO’s star roamer Tristan "YAWI" Cabrea during one of their recent livestreams. The iconic roamer pulled off constant conceal plays with his Atlas which caught the Codebreakers off guard, breaking their formation in the process. While Blacklist International was leading the entire match, Yawi was able to lead his squad to a late-game comeback victory thanks to his conceal plays. Shortly after the surprising outplay, Jonmar "OhMyV33NUS" Villaluna expressed how Atlas needs to be banned in the upcoming M4 World Championship due to how well Yawi plays the said hero.
Yawi shines on Atlas against Blacklist International
Yawi is one of the fan-favorite pro players in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Esports scene. He is known for his impressive roaming capabilities with his Chou. However, fans may be seeing a new signature pick for Yawi in the upcoming M4 World Championship.
Through a recent livestream, Blacklist International experienced firsthand a surprising outplay from ECHO’s star roamer. While the Codebreakers were leading in terms of objectives and map control, Yawi was able to pull off a comeback victory with a well-timed conceal ambush attack.
Out of nowhere, Atlas showed up with a three-man Fatal Links combo which ruined Blacklist International’s formation. This led to a four-man wipe, in favor of Yawi’s team, resulting in a comeback victory.
The Codebreakers were astounded by Yawi’s conceal outplay to the extent that OhMyV33NUS expressed the need to ban Atlas in the M4 World Championship when dealing with Yawi.
“His Atlas, we need to ban that in M4,” stated the iconic team captain.
Atlas is currently one of the strongest roamers in the meta. With Yawi being one of the best roamers in the Philippines, having mastered the hero’s mechanics, it will be interesting to see how other teams counter or utilize this hero in the upcoming M4 World Championship.
