One of the veteran players of Nexplay EVOS, Tristan "Yawi" Cabrera, has officially left the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang team. The pro player is one of the iconic “Big Three” and is also one of Nexplay EVOS’ best tank players. The release of Yawi had been hinted at by content creator Setsuna "Dogie" Ignacio a few months prior, stating through a vlog post that the pro player received a few opportunities to join new esports teams and would no longer be playing for Nexplay EVOS in the upcoming Mobile Legends Professional League (MPL) Philippines (PH) Season 9. Nexplay EVOS is yet to reveal its new team roster for the upcoming season.

Yawi officially left Nexplay EVOS

After finishing in a solid 6th place in the MPL PH Season 8, Nexplay EVOS has started revamping its team roster for the upcoming season. According to one of its pro players, Dogie, the team will have an entirely new team roster with only a few of its veteran players remaining on the team.

One of the pro players that has left the team is Nexplay EVOS’ tank specialist, Yawi. The player is part of the iconic “Big Three” which is composed of the veteran players Renejay "RENEJAY" Barcarse, Tristan "Yawi" Cabrera, and Jhon "H2wo" Salonga. With Yawi’s departure from the team, only RENEJAY and H2wo will be the remaining members of the fabled “Big Three” who will be playing in the upcoming MPL PH Season 9.

This announcement was made through the official social media handles of Nexplay Esports, the organization behind the Mobile Legends team. Nexplay EVOS bid farewell to its pro player and wished him luck.

“We’re proud of your transformation and we, as well as your fans, can’t wait to witness where your MLBB journey will take you next!” captioned Nexplay Esports.

It is still unknown which team Yawi shall join for the upcoming MPL season. But, on the other hand, Dogie may have hinted at the new faces of Nexplay EVOS through one of his vlogs. The organization is yet to officially announce its new team roster so this information should be taken with a grain of salt.

It will be interesting to see who will fill Yawi’s spot, as part of the Big Three, in Nexplay EVOS.
