The doors are now open for the pro players that shall forever be remembered in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Professional League (MPL) Philippines (PH) Hall of Legends. The Hall of legends honors the athletes who paved the way for the growth of the MLBB esports scene, not only for the Philippines but globally as well. Fans can now nominate pro players they think are worthy of being inducted into the Hall of Legends. MLBB pro players from MPL PH Season 1 to 10 are eligible. However, specific instructions need to be followed in order for a fan’s nomination to be counted in the overall tally.
MPL PH Hall of Legends nomination guide
Starting from 5th September to 7th October, fans can nominate their favorite MPL PH pro players by making a post on Facebook or TikTok. The posts can vary from videos, art cards, images, or status, posted on their public profiles.
"We thank our community for their contribution to the growth of the league. This is our way to give back to our fans while also celebrating our esports excellence since the birth of MPL Philippines," says Tonyo Silva, MOONTON Games senior marketing manager for esports.
The league has prepared pillars such as strength, contribution, and legacy, upon which the voting community can base their votes and nominations.
The Strength attribute pertains to their remarkable gaming performance or skill. Contribution refers to what they shared with the MPL or MLBB esports scene and culture. Lastly, Legacy is the nominee's overall impact throughout their MPL career. Those who have damaged the integrity of the game will not be deemed worthy of induction and will be removed from consideration.
Here is a quick look at how fans can submit their nominations for the Hall of Legends:
For Facebook posts
Make a post on your status as to why you think your nominated MPL PH players deserve the 10 legends vote from you.
Fans can be creative and make videos, art, pictures, or a simple text for their submission. Alternatively, they can use the template provided by the MPL PH to post their 10 nominations.
For TikTok posts
Fans may simply upload a video and explain why they think their nominated MPL PH players deserve the 10 legends vote.
To officially count as a vote, fans should make sure that the post should contain the mandatory hashtags #MPL10LEGENDS, #LAKASNA10TO, and #MPLPhilippines in the caption for both MPL-PH Facebook or the TikTok page.
Fans can get a chance to have their submissions featured in the MPL PH Season 10 broadcast. The 10 players who make the final list will be given an award and shall be inducted into the MPL PH Hall of Legends that will be held in the playoffs stage.
