After an upseting Week 3 in the MPL PH Season 10, Blacklist International rose back with a dominant victory. Thanks to the fan-favourite shotcaller and support specialist Johnmar “OhMyV33NUS” Villaluna the team is now placed second in the regular season leaderboard with four wins and two losses.

In the first game, TNC Pro Team proved formidable with a durable team composition. However, the team couldn’t position properly for a team fight due to bomb placements made by OhMyV33NUS’ Diggie, preventing any kind of ambush from happening. Without any option of surprising the Blacklist International, TNC Pro Team was forced to fight with a huge disadvantage, closing the game with a victory for the Code Breakers.

The second game saw the queen of roaming supports taking map control with the hero Lolita. With each surprise Noumenon Blast engage, TNC Pro Team was left scrambling around the map trying to escape. This allowed the Filipino Sniper Kiel "OHEB" Calvin Soriano to easily pick off enemies with his Wanwan and fishing the series with a 2-0 victory.

Blacklist Intenrational learned a lot from its losses, says BON CHAN

Blacklist Intenrational’s performance in the third week was definitely a huge upset for the fans. However, the was able to recover in the fourth week in a dominant fashion. According to head coach BON CHAN, making mistakes made the team realize their flaws and improve upon it.

“After the third week that was all a loss, we looked at where we went wrong and where we lacked. Because of those losses, we learned a lot,” said the head coach.

He added that “just because they lost that early, doesn’t mean it’s going to go downhill.”

Blacklist International took its losses as a lesson and improve upon it leading to the fourth week. OhMyV33NUS added that having a positive mindset also helped the team despite receiving backlash from haters.

“Of course, the mindset should remain positive even if the social media is a bit toxic. Yes, we had to work harder since we lost and its where we learned what we needed to improve,” said the team captain.

Blacklist International is looking to keep its momentum forward as it will face RSG PH on 4th September at 8:00 PM (PHT). TNC Pro Team will have to double up on its effort to secure wins against Nexplay EVOS on 10th September at 6:00 PM (PHT).
