Bren Esports makes a major comeback with a victory against Nexplay EVOS in the fourth week of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines (PH) Season 10. The team underperformed in the last two seasons and struggled to find its momentum. However, the M2 World Champion may have finally found the right synergy as the team nailed a dominant 2-0 clean sweep victory against Nexplay EVOS. During a post-match press conference, the team’s head coach Francis "Duckey" John Glindro shared his joy as the team has finally started to rise in the MPL PH Season 10 after its two-season slump.

Bren Esports soured RENEJAY’s MPL PH Season 10 debut in Nexplay EVOS

Fans of Nexplay EVOS were waiting for the debut of its star roamer Renejay "RENEJAY" Barcase this season. However, the grand entrance was soured by Bren Esports as it deal a major upset against the White Tigers with a dominant 2-0 scoreline.

The fan-favorite star roamer tried his best to open up potential team fights for Nexplay EVOS. However, Bren Esports was always one step ahead and would ruin its opponent’s formation. This resulted in the White Tigers being late in taking major objectives. While the first game saw both teams equal in terms of kill numbers, Bren Esports’ objective secures and turret clearing gave them the greater advantage in taking the win.

The same situation ocurred in the second game where John “H2wo” Paul Salonga’s Akai struggled to keep up with Michael "KyleTzy" Angelo Sayson’s Benedetta. While both teams were equal once again in the kills department, Bren Esports had the greater advantage when it came to objectives and map control and took the win for the series.

Bren Esports had more objectives secured than Nexplay EVOS.

Coach Ducky is happy for Bren Esports’ improvements in the MPL PH Season 10

Through a post-match press conference, the team’s head coach Duckey expressed that he is happy with how Bren Esports has improved in the MPL PH Season 10.

“For the past two seasons we’ve been in a slump and it’s really refreshing to see that we are making a comeback,” stated the head coach. “If I could summarize it, I’m just happy.”

Bren Esports is looking to keep its momentum going against ONIC PH on 10th September at 4:00 PM (PHT). Nexplay EVOS will have to come up with a way to recover from its upsetting performance as it shall face ECHO on 4th September at 5:00 PM (PHT).
