The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Brazil (BR) Season 1 regular season will officially start this 14th Aug 2021. The tournament will feature six invited teams along with two underdogs who qualified from the qualifiers competing for the lion’s share of the $30,000 USD prize pool along with the honor of representing Brazil in the upcoming M3 World Championships this December 2021. The grand finals of the MPL BR Season 1 will be held offline and will be hosted in São Paulo, Brazil where the top teams will face each other in a BO5 match. MPL Brazil Season 1 details

Moonton has finally revealed all the six invited teams along with the two underdogs who climbed their way up from the qualifiers for the first official MPL tournament outside Southeast Asia. The regular season will officially start on 14th Aug 2021.

Here is the full list of the participating teams in the upcoming MPL BR Season 1;

  • RED Canids (Invited Team)

  • Vivo Keyd (Invited Team)

  • Santos e-Sports (Invited Team)

  • Black Dragons (Invited Team)

  • Imperial Esports (Invited Team)

  • DreamMax Esports (Invited Team)

  • MooM E-Sports (Qualified Team)

  • Team Coda Solid (Qualified Team)

MPL Brazil Season 1 tournament format and schedule

The regular season and playoff stage will be played in a BO3 format. The grand finals will be a BO5 match and will be held offline in São Paulo, Brazil.

Here are the schedules for each stage of the tournament;

  • Regular Season: 14th August - 19th September 2021

  • Playoffs: 9th - 10 October 2021

  • Grand Finals: 16th October 2021

This year, there will only be one season of MPL BR. Starting in 2022, every year, the MPL BR will be divided into two seasons and will consist of four stages: Qualifiers, Season Professional (Regular Season), Playoffs, and the grand finals.

Prize Pool Distribution for MPL Brazil Season 1

The $30,000 USD prize pool will be distributed according to the team’s final ranking with the champions receiving the lion’s share.

  • 1st Place - $12,000

  • 2nd Place - $8,000

  • 3rd Place - $5,000

  • 4th Place - $2,500

  • 5th Place - 1,400

  • 6th Place - 500

  • 7th Place - 300

  • 8th Place - 300
