MDL ID Season 10 shall welcome two all-female teams in the competition.
One team shall be chosen from the winner of WSL Season 8 and another from the top-ranked Indonesian team on the WSL Invitational 2024 leaderboard.
If the winner of WSL Season 8 is also at the top of the WSL Invitational 2024 leaderboard, the top 2 on the leaderboard shall take the second slot.

The upcoming Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Development League Indonesia (MDL ID) Season 10 announced the inclusion of full-female teams. The upcoming league will add two slots which will be given to the best teams from two women’s league tournaments. The new format of MDL ID Season 10 aligns with Moonton's objective to foster inclusivity by integrating both male and female teams in competitive play, demonstrating that skill transcends gender in Mobile Legends.

Inclusivity has been one of the main goals of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Esports from the grassroots level of MDL and MPL to the grand stages of international competitions like MSC (Mid Season Cup) and M Series.

For the first time, MDL ID Season 10 is taking a bold step forward in championing inclusivity by partnering with the Women's Star League (WSL) to introduce all-female teams into the competition.

This initiative will see two slots reserved for the most formidable women’s teams in Indonesia to showcase their prowess in the upcoming season. The selection process will be rigorous yet fair, with one team chosen from the winner of WSL Season 8 and another from the top-ranked Indonesian team on the WSL Invitational 2024 leaderboard. In the event that the WSL Season 8 Champion also secures the top spot on the leaderboard in WSL Invitational 2024, the second slot will be awarded to the next highest-ranked Indonesian team on the leaderboard

This collaboration not only underscores the ongoing dialogue surrounding gender equality within the MLBB community but also seeks to answer the age-old question: Can ladies teams compete with professional men's teams in a tournament setting? According to Azwin Nugraha, Moonton Esports Indonesia Public Relations Manager, MDL Indonesia's inclusion of ladies teams aligns seamlessly with its mission to make esports accessible to all and foster growth within the community.

According to Azwin Nugraha, Moonton Esports Indonesia Public Relations Manager, MDL Indonesia's inclusion of ladies teams aligns seamlessly with its mission to make esports accessible to all and foster growth within the community. "From its inception, MLBB Esports has been about inclusivity," Azwin asserts. "Inclusivity transcends gender—it's about creating an environment where everyone, regardless of background or ability, can pursue their dreams and compete at their highest level."

Krishna Aurora, Head of Event at WSL, echoes this sentiment, expressing enthusiasm for the collaboration and emphasizing its potential to provide much-needed opportunities for ladies players to hone their skills and showcase their competitive spirit. "This partnership marks a pivotal moment for ladies players in the MLBB scene," Krishna remarks. "It's an opportunity for them to prove themselves on a larger stage and demonstrate that gender is not a barrier to success in esports."

With MDL Indonesia leading the charge, the stage is set for a new era of inclusivity and diversity in Indonesian MLBB Esports. As the first Indonesian MLBB league to officially welcome ladies teams into its ranks, MDL ID Season 10 promises to be a showcase of talent, determination, and the undeniable strength of the community. From the historic achievements of past champions like the Bigetron (BTR) era to the triumphs on the international stage at events like the MLBB Women's Invitational 2022 and the Southeast Asia (SEA) Games Cambodia 2023, Indonesian ladies teams have proven time and again that they are a force to be reckoned with.
