M4 World Championship Venue Hinted by MPL ID Promotional Video

The M4 World Championship may be held in Jakarta, Indonesia (ID). This was hinted at by one of the promotional videos posted by Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional (MLBB) League (MPL) Indonesia. The video revealed a poster stating that the venue for the M4 World Championship will be held somewhere in Jakarta, Indonesia. However, Moonton is yet to officially confirm this information. The second World Championship event was originally planned to be held in Indonesia but was moved to Singapore due to the COVID-19 pandemic. With the pandemic slowly becoming less of an issue, there is the possibility of Moonton finally executing its plans of hosting the M4 World Championship in Jakarta, Indonesia.

M4 World Championship to be held in Indonesia

Fans have been speculating that the upcoming world series event will be held somewhere in Indonesia. It was not until 17th August that fans got a hint at where the M4 World Championship may be hosted.

Through a YouTube video posted on the official channel of MPL Indonesia, fans can get a quick glimpse of a poster with an M4 logo printed on it. Below the logo, the word “Jakarta” can be seen.

According to Liquipedia, the M2 World Championship was originally planned to be held in Indonesia but was moved to Singapore due to the global pandemic and travel restrictions. Considering that the region was one of the potential candidates for a World Series event, it is possible that Moonton may be planning to host the M4 World Championship in Indonesia. After all, it is also one of the regions with the strongest MLBB teams, aside from the Philippines.

While this hint was discovered in one of the official promotional videos posted by Moonton itself, the publisher is yet to officially confirm the venue for the upcoming World Series event. Fans will have to keep their eyes peeled for more updates in the future.
