MLBB MENA's official YouTube channel posted a teaser for the upcoming world series event.
Moonton is yet to officially announce more details regarding the upcoming M4 World Championship.

The much awaited M4 World Championship could be taking place a little later than expected, with the official YouTube channel of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Middle East and North Africa (MENA) posting a teaser that hinted the dates of the event. Amid the hype surrounding the Mobile Legends Southeast Asia Cup (MSC) 2022 Grand Finals match between RRQ Hoshi and RSG PH, a teaser for the upcoming M4 World championship also premiered. The 22-second teaser revealed that the M4 World Championship shall kick off at the start of 2023 instead of being held at the end of 2022. Moonton is yet to officially announce more details regarding the upcoming world series event.

M4 World Championship start date revealed

According to the teaser posted in the MLBB MENA YouTube channel, the upcoming world championship is scheduled to be held on 1st Jan and will last until 15th Jan 2023.

This announcement came out of nowhere as no announcement in other social media handles have yet to be released. Until Moonton officially confirms this, fans should take this announcement with a grain of salt.

This wasn’t the first time an M World Series tournament was held at the start of a year. The M2 World Championship which was originally set to be held at the end of 2020 was moved to Jan 2021 due to the global pandemic. This resulted in two world series tournaments being held within 2021 with the M3 World Championship held in December 2021.

The M4 World Championship (also known as the M World Series events) is the annual global championship for MLBB. The tournament will feature the top performing teams from various regions around the world competing for the world championship title and the privilege of having an MLBB skin themed around the champion.

Last year, the Philippines (PH) powerhouse team Blacklist International won the M3 World Championship after a dominant sweep against ONIC PH in the grand finals. An Estes skin themed around the M3 grand champion is currently under development.
