Omega Esports’ star Gold Laner Grant "Kelra" Duane Pillas may not be able to join his squad in the upcoming Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup (MSC) 2022 due to his passport processing being delayed. The team's roamer Joshua "Ch4knu" Mangilog is also facing the same issue. According to Kelra, he still lacks the necessary ID to process his passport which may take some time to acquire. The team’s substitute EXP Laner Billy “Z4pnu” Alfonso, stated that the star Gold Laner has until 25th of May to settle his passport, or else he would be left behind and be replaced by another player for the upcoming MSC 2022. Z4pnu also revealed that he wants to play in the forthcoming tournament, if only for just one match series.

Kelra and Ch4knu may not be able to compete in the MSC 2022 due to lack of passport requirements

The defending champion of the MSC 2022, Omega Esports (previously known as Execration) is currently facing a slight issue regarding its popular Gold Laner. According to a vlog post by Z4pnu, Kelra is yet to complete his requirements to process his passport, which is needed to travel to Malaysia.

“I hope Kelra doesn’t get left behind because he still has no passport,” said Z4pnu.

According to Kelra, he lacks the necessary government ID. It also did not help that he lost his school ID, forcing him to find other alternatives to process valid ID required to acquire his passport.

Z4pnu warned Kelra “Just make sure your passport arrives before 25 [May] or you’ll be left behind.”

“Not only will you be left behind but the whole team will also be affected,” Z4pnu added.

Z4pnu also mentioned that the team’s roamer Ch4knu is also having trouble securing his passport. This meant that if the two pro players can’t secure their requirements before the deadline, the team will have to make adjustments to its roster.

“We might need to look for replacements for them. We’ll acquire players from other teams if we lose two players due to their passports,” said Z4pnu.

Z4pnu wants to play in the MSC 2022

It’s been a while since Z4pnu played in any major Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) events. His last competition was back in the regular season of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines (PH) Season 8 where Omega Esports got into trouble for allegedly not taking the match seriously against Nexplay EVOS.

Now that the team is defending its MSC 2022 title, Z4pnu wants to try and compete once again on the big stage. “I will be playing, just one game,” said the veteran EXP Laner.

Z4pnu assured fans that he will be practicing a lot and that he would be playing for at least one match series.

The MSC 2022 will kick off on 11th June where 12 of the top Southeast Asian (SEA) teams from various regional MLBB leagues and qualifiers will compete for the title of the Kings of SEA MLBB Esports.
