Fyxs says Godlike Esports scrimming with BGIS 2024 teams is not illegal.
He also said that Godlike Esports are scrimming to increase their chances of winning in the BGIS 2024 event.

The Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2024 The Grind event is ongoing and is being dominated by seasoned as well as underdog teams. The Grind event is the qualifying event for the BGIS 2024 main event and the top 64 teams from the overall standings of The Grind will be allotted slots in Rounds 3 and 4 of the BGIS 2024 main event.

In a recent live stream, Amrit “Fyxs” Gourav responded to the allegations made by some of the fans regarding Godlike Esports playing scrims with BGIS 2024 teams.

Fyxs responds to Godlike Esports scrimming allegations

In a recent live stream, Fyxs talked about Godlike Esports playing scrims with the teams in its BGIS 2024 The Grind group and said, “Recently someone tagged me on Twitter/X and asked me that, is it legal for Godlike Esports to play scrims with teams that are in their group for BGIS. Yes of course it is legal, what's the harm? Krafton has not particularly mentioned anywhere that it is illegal to scrim with teams who are in your group. Scrims are just for practice and this was just another custom. Legally also you cannot do anything, they would say we registered for the customs and the teams just happen to be in our lobby. I don’t think it is wrong or bad, they are just increasing their chances.”

Contrary to its inconsistent performances in the 2024 BGMI season so far, Godlike Esports had an exceptional performance in the BGIS 2024 The Grind event. It was able to grab 87 points in its 6 matches across the four weeks of the event and also became the only team after ESCN Esports to secure three chicken dinners in the event. Tanishk “Admino” Singh and Kaushal “Simp” Jaiswal were added to the team just before the start of BGIS 2024 and have turned out to be valuable additions for the team with their Most Valuable Player (MVP) performances.

BGIS 2024 The Grind event will conclude on 28th April and a number of seasoned squads including Godlike Esports have already secured a spot in Rounds 3 and 4 of BGIS 2024.
