Free Fire OB29 Update: Expected Release Date, Upcoming Features

Garena Free Fire OB29 update expected to be released on August, 4, 2021 at 12:00 PM SGT (9:30 AM IST). Free Fire players will be able to update the approximately 700 MB update for the game from Google Play Store and Apple App Store when the patch goes live. The patch usually takes six hours to implement so players will not be able to play Free Fire before OB29 goes live. There are three mystery characters being added in this patch along with a new pet and the AC80 Marksman Rifle.

Free Fire OB29 Update: Mystery Character and Other Features

After introducing a D-BEE, a street dancer and musician character in the last patch, the new patch will bring in three mystery characters. One of them is apparently called Thiva, based on new assets on the Advance Server and leaks. Thiva comes with an Active skill called ‘Healing Heartbeat’. It lets him create a 5 meter healing zone inside which teammates can recover HP per second.

After Elite Kelly, Elite Hayato and Elite Andrew, Free Fire is getting an Elite version of Moco as one of the three mystery characters. The third character’s name isn’t known yet. This character comes with a passive skill called ‘Vital Vibes’ which reduces the time you take to revive someone by a certain percentage.

The OB29 update also adds the Ninja Tiger which grants you a buff to deal additional damage to moving enemies.

There will also be a new marksman rifle called AC80. This rifle can fire two simultaneous shots, dealing additional damage to the opponents and is meant for mid-long range combat.
