Founder of War Mania Claims Krafton Is Working On BGMI’s Return Trailer

Hrishav Bhattacharjee, founder and CEO of War Mania, recently attended Dreamhack Hyderabad 2022, where he met a lot of Indian gaming creators and stakeholders in the industry. While attending the event, he went live on his Instagram handle to chat with his audience. During the live session, the CEO made massive claims about Battleground Mobile India’s (BGMI) return. He stated that the game would return in January 2023, and the shooting for the return trailer had already started.

Founder of War Mania states that BGMI will return in January

Since the last few weeks, a lot of content creators and industry stakeholders have claimed that BGMI will return early next year, possibly in January or February. Bhattacharjee echoed the same sentiments and claimed that the game would return in January. However, he refrained from revealing the exact release date. “We can’t reveal the date, but from what we have come to know, the game is coming in the month of January for sure,” he said.

There have been a lot of rumors recently that BGMI would return with a new publisher other than Jio or Airtel. Responding to these rumors, Bhattacharjee said, “As per our knowledge, Krafton will definitely be one of the publishers, and the other will be either Jio or Airtel.” He added, “The other publisher will undoubtedly be Reliance (Jio) or Airtel, not any other company.”

Bhattacharjee said, “As of now, it is confirmed that the game will return in January,” implying that the information is limited to his knowledge and can change in the future. Following this, he made a massive claim about the game. He said, “The shooting for the BGMI return trailer has already started. That’s all I have to say.”

Multiple popular personalities from the Indian gaming industry, including Saumya “Saumraj” Raj, Yash Bhanushali, and Nishant “iFlicks” Murlidharan, have claimed that BGMI will return in early 2023. Fans have received a bunch of positive news about BGMI in the past few weeks. If Bhattacharjee’s claims are accurate and the shooting for BGMI’s return trailer has already started, the game’s relaunch is closer than ever. However, it is important to note that Krafton has not yet announced anything regarding the game since it was removed from the Google Play Store and Apple’s App Store.
