iFlicks Believes That BGMI Might Return Before 30th January

In a recent livestream, Nishant “iFlicks” Murlidharan, coach of Hyderabad Hydras, was chatting with his viewers and answering their questions. One of his viewers asked him about the return date of Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI). Answering him, iFlicks revealed that he has heard from multiple sources that BGMI might return in December 2022 or January 2023. He further added that he could not assure his audience about the claim, but he certainly believed it.

iFLicks says a major official tournament will take place when BGMI returns

Replying to a question from one of his viewers, iFLicks said that he had heard that BGMI would return with a new publisher either in December 2022 or January 2023. “A lot of people have given me the answer to this question. Most people are saying that BGMI is going to come back with a new publisher, and most of them are also saying that it will come either in December or January. Mostly it is going to be in January,” he said. Following this, he added that he had heard the same news previously, but he actually believed it this time.

iFlicks is a former professional PUBG: Battlegrounds professional player and currently coaches the BGMI team of Hyderabad Hydra. He said that his team has been practicing throughout the game’s block period and does not want the grind to go in vain.

iFlicks claimed that once BGMI comes back, a major official invitational tournament might take place. Following this, he stated that he thinks the game will return before 30th January, but there is no way he can guarantee that. He said, “If the game comes, hopefully a major official tournament will take place first, which will definitely be an invitational tournament. But it will happen only after BGMI comes back.” Following this, he added, “I would say that the game will return before 30th January, according to what I have heard. However, there is no guarantee about that, I can’t assure you, but that’s what I have heard.”

The government of India blocked BGMI on 28th July 2022. Apart from the game’s block notice, there was no official announcement from the government and Krafton. As a result, fans and creators were concerned about the game’s return. However, in the past few weeks, fans have been getting a few hints from popular personalities from the gaming industry. Furthermore, Krafton also made some changes in the support section of the game’s website and in-game.
