EVOS WORLD Squad Makes a Comeback for 2022 President Esports Cup Qualification

It has been officially confirmed that  EVOS Legends' former WORLD (Wann, Oura, Rekt, Luminaire, Donkey) squad will make a significant comeback. The group performed admirably in winning the M1 World Championship title before some of its members decided to retire or become streamers. The WORLD team will compete in the upcoming 2022 President Esports Cup Qualification to win the right to represent Indonesia as the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) team at the 2022 14th International Esports Federation (IESF) World Esports (WE) Championship. The squad will begin at the bottom of the qualification event and work its way up against different teams as it advances to the main stage.

EVOS World is back for the 2022 President Esports Cup Qualification

One of the most known faces in the MLBB Esports scene is the M1 squad from EVOS Legends. The members of the team, who go by the abbreviation "W.O.R.L.D.," are Muhammad "Wannn" Ridwan, Eko "Oura" Julianto, Gustian "Rekt", Ihsan "Luminaire" Kusudana, and Yurino "Donkey" Angkawidjaja.

Oura and Donkey departed the squad soon after taking home the inaugural world series event and then started their career as streamers and content creators. When EVOS Legends had a significant roster overhaul for the Mobile Legends Professional League (MPL) ID Season 10, Luminaire, REKT, and Wann left soon after. The squad may, however, be making a comeback, as one of its players hinted.

It was revealed through one of Luminaire's Instagram stories that the team would be returning for the upcoming 2022 President Esports Cup Qualification. This tournament will determine who will represent Indonesia in the upcoming 14th IESF WE Championship 2022.

The fans were thrilled by this news, especially those from Indonesia who have been following the team through their individual live streams and professional esports careers. This may serve as the reunion of one of the most dominant teams of the early days of MLBB esports.

Following this, Oura shared on his stream that if the team wins, he is willing to donate cattle.

“If we win guys, what should I do? If I win, I will donate 10 cows,” said the MLBB veteran.

It will be interesting to see if the renowned WORLD team will be able to compete against the new generation of MLBB teams in the upcoming 2022 President Esports Cup Qualification.
