Team Spirits joins the MLBB hype featuring former Deus Vult squad

Following the announcement of Gaimin Gladiators joining the MLBB esports scene, another Dota 2 powerhouse hops onto the hype train as Team Spirit announced its MLBB roster featuring former Deus Vult members.

“We present you Team Spirit's roster for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang! We believe that these young guys will worthily represent our tag in a new discipline for the organization,” the post captioned.

Known as the underdogs of the M5 World Championship, Deus Vult catapulted to international success and won the hearts of many fans. Their efforts caught the attention of Team Spirit, who has signed the following line-up:

  • Mathaios "Kid Bomba" Chatzilakos

  • Sergey "Marl" Finashev

  • Kemiran "Sunset Lover" Kochkarov

  • Pak "HIKO" Igorevich

  • Stanislav "SAWO" Reshnyak

"Team Spirit is an international esports organization that has proven to be among the world's best. Victories at The International, Riyadh Masters, and IEM Katowice are worthy results, but we don’t intend to stop. Therefore, the Team Spirit family is getting bigger and the organization is spreading to new disciplines. This year, we decided to pay close attention to mobile gaming. Throughout the organization's existence, our strategy has been to recruit young talented players and help them find their way to the top tier. This time is not an exception: we believe that this Mobile Legends: Bang Bang roster will rise above the competition and quickly become part of Team Spirit's DNA," said Nikita Cheshir Chukalin, CEO of Team Spirit.

He further added that despite the tough competition in the MLBB esports scene, the team is looking forward to show their competitive spirit. “We believe in the guys and know what they are capable of. At the same time, we will do everything in our power to make them feel comfortable both during training and playing at major competitions. So that the only thing they are focused on will be their performance.”

Similar to the MLBB Professional League Philippines (MPL PH) Season 13, the MCC Season 3 will introduce the Gauntlet Format this season that gives an advantage to the highest-performing or highest ranked teams from the first stage. The single elimination bracket will take place during the Playoffs Play-in.

The tournament is set to kick off on 31st March and will feature three invited teams, three more from the closed-qualifiers, and another two teams from third-party competitions.

It will be interesting to see how Team Spirit performs in the upcoming MCC Season 3 considering it has acquired one of the strongest MLBB teams in Russia.
