Gaimin Gladiators will participate in the upcoming 2024 NACT Spring Season.

Gaimin Gladiators (GG), one of the Dota 2 scene's beloved powerhouses, officially confirmed the rumors and announced its venture into the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) esports scene. The esports organization has acquired the team roster of TheOhioBrothers, the team that participated in the M5 World Championship, for the upcoming  2024 North America Challenger Tournament (NACT) Spring Season.

The 2024 NACT Spring Season is a major MLBB league in NA. The winner of the tournament shall represent the region in the upcoming Mobile Legends Mid Season Cup 2024, set to be held in Saudi Arabia.

Gaimin Gladiators acquires TheOhioBrothers lineup

Through a Twitter post on 14th February 2024, Gaimin Gladiators officially unveiled its MLBB roster for the upcoming 2024 NACT Spring Season.

“MOBAs are in our blood and our next big step will open the COLOSSEUM to the biggest mobile competition!” the post captioned.

The roster features former TheOhioBrothers members Carlos "bestplayer1" Vega, Jang "Hoon" Seong-hun, Vo "SHARK" Trung, and Ziameth-Jei "ZIA" Caluya. Gaimin Gladiators also acquired the former BloodThirstyKings (BTK) veteran Ian "FwydChickn" Hohl.

While TheOhioBrothers’ previous achievements in local tournaments in NA were commendable, the roster still has a lot to prove when it comes to the international MLBB esports scene. The team previously participated in the M5 World Championship where it was eliminated in the Group Stage with a 1-2 score.

FwydChickn, on the other hand, has been one of the key members of BTK since its 3rd-place finish in the M3 World Championship. The pro player has seen a few role swaps in his career, mostly in the Roamer and EXP Lane positions and can even play in the Gold Lane when needed. This makes him quite flexible and may be a huge advantage for his new team.

It will be interesting to see how Gaimin Gladiators’ MLBB roster performs in the upcoming 2024 NACT Spring Season.
